N3221 was employed with 609 Sqn throughout the battle of britain and Dunkirk evacuation, 609 Sqn was the first Squadron to achieve 100 enemy kills so this aircraft would have been in the thick of it. The aircraft crashed in 1943 while its pilot Flying Officer Flemming RAAF was carrying out a low level sweep and clipped its wings into the ground then gained height before falling apart and crashing. These display relics dont come often and are ultra rare from a MK1A spitfire, the very first one produced and comes with an original artist signed painting of a MK1 spitfire enjoy bidding , you might not see something again with such history attached
