Shakespeare, a ship timber merchant and owner of Dover Mills, was the son of Benjamin Shakespeare of White Clay Creek and Mary McIntire of the same location. He married Catherine Haman of White Clay Creek in 1843 and had the following children: Dr. Edward O. Shakespeare, Benjamin Franklin Shakespeare, William McIntire Shakespeare, George Oscar, Louis, and Victor Arden Fitzwilliam. Back side is blank. Paper is thick. Great for framing and display!
