Description: Beautiful oval shaped hand-painted (yellow, white, pink, green, brown colors) and decorated RS Germany porcelain/china celery dish with two pierced handles. Set includes 'Master' dish for serving celery and six (6) open salt cellars or dips. Each is decorated with a large white rose and greenery. All transfers are then hand painted with embellished background color and gold trim to the rim. Each salt has tiny handles also. Celery dish is marked on bottom in blue/green RS and “GERMANY”. Each salt is marked GERMANY” and also impressed into the porcelain as well. The set seems fairly rare as I did not find them in the Gaston RS Prussia books. Believe circa 1930's.The Master dish measures 11 1/4" long, 5 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" deep. The dish is in great condition with no chips, cracks or damage. Each of the salts measure 3 3/4" long, 2 3/8" wide and 1/2" deep. All are in very good condition with one that has a hairline but is not broken. Some minor paint wear to pieces but overall very good. Two of the cellars have a paint spot.Beautiful matching set!
