Description: This auction is for a vintage 1940's era 2-piece wool tuxedo suit by Saks Fifth Ave. Great super dark navy color it appears, but almost looks black. Herringbone pattern in the material as well. Super mint suit overall, well taken care of. Only flaw I really noted was some wear to the satin neck/ fold around rear neck area. Jacket is tagged 39L. Please go by following & see pics with yardstick for best fit: Measures 20.75" pit to pit laid flat, 25.5" shoulder seam to end of sleeves, 31" length from neck seam down center back, and 18.25" shoulder to shoulder. Pants measure 26.5" waist laid flat and inseam is 27.5". Front rise is 13". Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
