Description: Here is a Vintage/Antique Venetian Fancy Glass and Wedding Cake Beads beaded necklace which features these great rare Blue fancy glass beads with gold centers and green and red jewel "eyes" with white glass traceries on the top and bottom of the beads. I've never seen Blue fancy beads like these! Also the clear wedding cake beads have gold banded centers with the usual wedding cake glass decorations all applied by hand. The four off white wedding cake beads have their glass decorations too, but on a smaller scale. Then the fabulous blue faceted glass beads which I've never seen used like this. Please note the use of the very small French steel cut beads used as accents in amongst the facted blue beads. PHEW! This is an amazing assortment of beads. There is even a tassle! Necklace is 28" long and add 5 more inches for the tassle. The rare Venetian fancy blue beads are 18 mm long in the top and 16 mm on the tassel. The clear wedding cake beads are 12 mm. The small off white beads are 6 mm. The blue faceted beads are about 5 mm. There is no clasp. Since each bead is made one-at-a-time there is some variation in size, etc. I see no issues with the beads. There is a bit of gold separation on the two smaller Blue fancy beads. I'm pretty sure these beads are strung on string and it feels tight. Please consider restringing this before wearing it. If you wear it without restringing it and it breaks I will not be able to refund you. Please study the pictures carefully as they are an integral part of the description.
