Description: This is a vintage from 90s Trek. This was the tippy top-of-the-line Trek mtn bike from the mid-90s. (I have attached the original brochure picture.) I have had this bike for over 25 years and it has been awesome. Two years ago I took it to Trek and had it completely overhauled as I expected to have it for the next 25 years as well. It runs like new and only the cosmetic scratches tell its age. This bike was well cared for and rarely raced. I primarily used it to bike to the gym, park, etc. I am really hesitating to sell it. About the bike: It has Shimano XT components. I think it's a 3x8. Grip shifters. All work fine.New Fizik Aliante 8 saddleSize = 19.5" (I am 6' 3". Ideal for 5'11" to 6'2" IMO.)Wheels are 26" with an extra tire and tube thrown in.Weight is around 22lbs. Lots of high-tech aftermarket light stuff put on circa 1998 to lighten it up. (Hence the purple alloy stuff)The pedals are a flip-flop kind with SPD on one side and platform on other.
