Description: Up for sale we have this used vintage collectible old farm implement that may have been from some sort of fanning mill. There is a slight curvature to the wooden portion of this item. Please study the photos as they are an important part of the item description. First off, the farm implement is used and is in restored condition. The cast iron mounting bracket has the number D-25 embossed on it. There are faint remnants of red paint present on this item. I would hazard a guess that the wood is Sassafras but I could be wrong. I would date this piece to the early 20th century. This implement measures 14 inches overall length, at the widest point 6-1/2 inches and the thickness is 1/2 of an inch. The stand alone weight of this farm implement is 1 lb. 5 oz. Indeed a great item to repurpose to your country décor.
