Welcome, Here is a seldom seen opportunity to score a really nice Alvarez, this was towards the top of the line Made In Japan circa 1978, and is a nicely made, good quality guitar. These were not generally exported to the UK, so it is also a rare guitar to find here. Overall condition is very good for the age with expected traces of use, capo marks and suchlike on neck as pictured. Described here as 'player grade' because the guitar has had a re-fret historically - the fretwork is not the greatest, to be fair- as shown in pics, yet is perfectly serviceable and playable. To ensure this, we have just overhauled the guitar and balanced the frets to allow optimum playability, along with a full setup worth around £150. The usual re-sale price of this guitar is up to around £650, so here we present a players guitar at a players price and priced to sell. The guitar has an open, mature tone, in the Martin style, although it has a more interesting character than many modern Martin and actually sounds a lot better than most modern USA guitars, it is a lot of guitar for the money, as they say.
