Description: This is one of my oldest dolls. I bought these in the 1970s. We restocked a 1825 log cabin. It was a big playhouse for us. I turned the top floor into the kids room. These were the first toys I bought. It took me several years to find the bench to go with them. I found them on my favorite antiques shop. They were made locally and have great sewing work on them. Their clothes are made like for real people. The dolls are made from muslin. The faces are painted. Andy has navy blue pants with a tiny red and white check shirt with a white collar. He has two white buttons on his pants. Annie has a tiny navy and white check dress with full sleeves. She has a very full apron over the dress. She has full length pantaloons. Both of their legs are red and white striped cotton. They have black shoes. Both have red yarn hair. Annie’s hair is very short on her forehead. Both dolls have some very small repairs on a leg or arms. They are done very well. We had a squirrel that got in the cabin and liked the dolls. I had them fixed. It just adds to their age. I’m 82 and having to downsize my wonderful collections. Thanks for looking. Annie is 28” and Andy is 29”.
