This is a lovely landscape painting of a rural scene, with a barn, some flowering trees, a country road, and some mountains in the background. Both the canvas and the frame are in excellent condition. I don't know when it was painted, but I'm guessing it was framed in the seventies because of the linen type of fabric they used to matte it. However, they did use nails to secure it which would suggest it might be older. The only flaw is that one of the screws in the back that holds the wire is coming out of the wood, so I'm guessing that both screws will need to be moved. It is a large heavy piece, so you will want to make sure that those screws are secure. Is signed R.Eghizi, I have not been able to find any information on someone with that name.
