Description: For your consideration is this authentic Riddell PAC-3 football helmet manufactured in April 1981 as shown by the date stamping. Helmet is blue impregnated and painted beautiful Carolina Blue, with size 7 1/4 sticker found inside shell. RIDDell PAC-3 helmets are quite rare and collectible in their own right. This helmet came to us bearing the iconic “UNC” decals of the North Carolina Tar Heels and was last reconditioned in 1984 according to the sticker. Please note we have no history on which player wore this helmet and the top pads are missing. The decals show appropriate wear and shrinkage due to use and age for this age helmet, and they are correct for that era.
