A clear glass dome-shaped cap which was embossed with a 2-1/2 ounce scale and HYGEIA MADE IN U.S.A. was sold as an accessory. The cap was used as a nipple protector, a measuring cup or as a feeding cup. Note: The manufacturing rights to the Hygeia nursing bottles were sold to Ball Bros. of Muncie, Indiana in 1953, who then sold them to the Drug Plastics and Glass Co. of Boyertown, Pa. in 1967. D.
