Description: Vintage 1950's Strapless Tulle & Lace Prom Party Dress This dress is in good condition for its age. It has 2 layers of tulle and inner layer is acetate The first tulle layer is in great condition. I don't find any holes The second tulle layer is not in good condition and needs to be removed or replaced (please see pictures) The third acetate layer is in great condition. I don't find any holes It zips and has eye-hook and snap closure under arm It looks like the fabric on the bodice at the boning may be coming apart or may have been made that way (I'm not sure) This dress is a beautiful baby blue in color with a lavender under skirt. I soaked the dress and hung dry to get some of the dinginess out. I'm sure another soaking or a trip to the cleaners will really make this dress stand out. I did find a small spot on the bodice (see photo). It may come. The dress was found in the original box from the department store in which it came from years ago. This dress has no stretch.
