Carefully examined under magnification each earring has 18 round diamonds and 9 baguette diamonds all in a creative design around a natural blue sapphire that measures 6.7 mm x 4.8 mm and has been researched through a online gem calculator for carat weight about .82 ct each along with the diamonds each earring has about 1.36 cts with a total carat weight the pair about 2.70 cts . These are beautiful natural blue sapphires and the diamonds are all of good color and clarity. The pair weighs 6.5 grams and each earring measures about 7/8 of an inch top to bottom on the front and on the back they close with Omega backs that have both a sturdy posts and hinge. There marked 14 K on the post and also on the back of the hinge.
