This a collection of 2 films by the Japanese War Dept to tell there side of the battle of Pearl Harbor. The Japanese see it as Dec. 8th because of the international dateline. This is very rare footage and the first one is in English and the second one is in Japanese. The Japanese said we boosted that we had the best Navy in the world at the time and look what the Japanese did in just 2 hours. There is actual footage of the Japanese flying over and bombing pearl harbor from there planes. Very fascinating stuff and well worth seeing. Runtime 13:05 Min's 2nd Film; "Dec. 7th, 1941". This is a film produced by our War Dept. It starts out with the shock of the attack and the damage that was done to our Pacific Fleet. This is a report from the American point of view. Also, very important. Runtime 30:42 Min's 3rd Film; "Pacific Boils Over". This is a Victory at sea film and it is very good story on how we got into war with the Japanese and tells both sides. Of course, it emphases Japanese errors and our vindication of what happened at Pearl Harbor from our point of view. Very good film. Runtime 26:26 Min's. 4th Film; "Pearl Newsreels". This is collection of newsreels about Dec. 7th, at Pearl Harbor. Starts with 1st, Japans lies of peace Japanese Treachery. 2nd, Avenge Pearl Harbor. 3rd, Japanese surrender on the Mighty MO. (USS Missouri). Runtime 12:31 Min's. 5th Film; "Movietone Pearl Harbor". Now it can be shown, Newsman, Al Bricks shows and narrates the Pearl Harbor destruction and the aftermath. Runtime 8:00 Min's 6th Film. Bonus "USS Arizona, Before and After Dec. 7th". This film is stunning because you get to see how the upbeat sailors were and how they lived aboard the Arizona and her sister ships, then the second half (the sad part) is the destruction of these ships, (especially the Arizona) at Pearl Harbor. There is some very, very rare footage that has rarely been seen. The film ends at the Pearl harbor Memorial. The end is very sad to watch. Runtime 13:04 Min's.Product No. CFDVD0021 Thanks for your support!
