Stunning 1900’s Art Nouveau Lady Lamp w/ 3-Arm French Shell Shades

Description: 16.00 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Stunning 1900’s Art Nouveau Lady Lamp w/ 3-Arm French Shell Shades A Magnificent One-of-a-Kind, All Original Art Nouveau Lady Lamp w/ 3-Arm French Shell Shades, circa 1900-10’s. The Lily Pad Lamp Base has a Beautiful Patinated Bronze Finish with an Art Nouveau Lady in a flowing gown standing on a small globe in the center of the base. From the globe emerge three (3) arms that blossom above the figurine with three (3) Gorgeous Made-in-France Shell Shades. The shades have stunning iridescent colors of blue, blue-green, green, red, red-orange, parmesan and ivory (my pics don’t do the actual colors justice!). Each of the shell shades is marked ‘DÈPOSÈ’, which was essentially the French legal equivalent of a Registered Trademark or Design Patent in the late 1800’s/early 1900’s. I purchased this Unique Art Nouveau Lady Shell Lamp from a high-end dealer in Buffalo over 30 years ago for $2500.The Lily Pad Lamp has been rewired with a period-style cloth cord and has old ceramic miniature bulb sockets. The lamp base is not marked. It measures approx. 10” in diameter at the base and is approx. 20” tall with an 18” diameter around the shell shades. The shell shades are approx. 4” tall with a 2” fitter. There’s no damage or cracks in any of the shells. The Overall Condition of the Lamp Base and Shades, commensurate with its age of over 115+ years and use over that time, are between VG+ and Excellent!
