Description: An acceptable condition hardcover copy of 'Saga of the All American' from 1946. This is a history of the 82nd Airborne Division. This copy is signed by the original owner and service member, Brigadier General Earl W. Brannon. This is signed on both the backside of the front free endpaper and the backside of the rear free endpaper. The most significant damage is that the spine has separated from the book, which appears to be a common issue on this book, but does have some older tape that has held it on the book. There is, however, a piece missing at both the top and the bottom of the spine. The book is still usable, but I would advise some caution when looking through as it is to ensure it doesn't get worse. There is also a little bump wear to the corners, and some of the outer hard casing has come off on some of the corners and to the top and bottom of the spine. Inside there is a previous price marking in pencil on the front free endpaper, but otherwise no other writing or markings to any of the other pages besides the service member's signature and information. There are no folds to any of the pages. The pages have tanned from age, and there are a few small tears to the side edge of 3 pages at the front, but overall they are still in great condition. Shipped via USPS Media Mail. Information on Brigadier General Earl W. Brannon can be on the official US Air Force website here: https://www.af.mil/About-Us/Biographies/Display/Article/107654/brigadier-general-earl-william-pat-brannon-jr/
