Description: This is a rare find: Handmade, Hand Forged by Dan Certo as a custom order in 2013. This is a 9 inch blade MX4 Punisher in 3V steel with his proprietary Hot Enhancement process; Dan once said that this was the sort of knife you need when building a new city in a post apocalyptic world. The Hot Enhancement process includes: Hand Forged, Triple Thermo Quenched, Cryogenic Freeze, Triple Tempered. This treatment creates a nearly indestructible knife. It was an option that practically doubled the cost of a custom knife. Blade is 9 inches long, 2.25 inches wide, 0.25 thick.Overall length is: 14.75 inches. Handmade leather sheath and a sharpening steel included. This was part of a three knife custom order from 2013: I cannot find the birth certificate cards, but I did have them at one time.
