They are pressed from vintage molds and then ground, painted, and painstakingly detailed by hand. The paint is permanent high-temperature fired enamel. This is a fabulous and beautiful button - it has a domed shape and the mold features a lot of fine detail and gives it a dramatic look. They have a wonderful 3-D quality. Each measures approx. 36mm (1 3/8") wide and has a glass shank. They are reverse painted with GORGEOUS cranberry and pink enamel that shine through under clear glass. On top are bright silver and matte turquoise enamel details. They make wonderful embellishments to clothes, knits, hats, crafts, and can even be used in jewelry making!!
