Likewise, director Guy Hamilton was brought aboard, partly due to his direction of previous Bond films Goldfinger and Live and Let Die. Fred Ward was cast as Remo Williams. Worthy of note: Ed Harris was considered for the role, as well as another part time actor & bartender....Bruce Willis.
