Description: Portmeirion Botanic Garden “Viscum Album” Mistletoe Set of 2 Mandarin Mugs. Perfect for Holiday gatherings. Created by Portmeirion Pottery, Stoke-on-Trent England, founder Susan Williams-Ellis in 1972, the Botanic Garden collection is decorated with a variety of illustrations adapted from Thomas Green’s Universal or Botanical Medical and Agricultural Dictionary (1817). To this day it is the most successful ceramics series of botanical subjects. The mugs feature sprigs of mistletoe tied together with a festive red bow. This pattern was introduced by Portmeirion in 2002 and discontinued in 2010. Dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe. They are 4 1/2” tall and have a 3 1/2” diameter.
