Description: This gorgeous pair of French or Austrian crystal bud vases date to about 1870. The feature facet cut flaring necks and square bases. Both the necks and the bases have blue flashed ovals that are engraved and gilded with grapes and grape leaves. This theme is carried to the other two sides of the bases. All surfaces on this remarkable 19th c. crystal vases are hand cut. These is a small chip in the corner of one of the vases and a tiny chip in the lip of the other. There is no wear to the gilded decoration. Both are 7" tall and have 2" x 2" bases. Stock Number SA2D-378
