Description: Vintage pair of framed angel prints with art by Fra Angelico, each 12.5" round under glass with gilt mats and frames. Unsure of age but they appear to have been mounted on wood beneath the dust screens, and one has an old antique store sticker. I think they are chromolithographs based on the quality of the image and colors. Perfect for your holiday decorating! In good condition with some wear to frames and mats. The one on the left in the first image does have a scuff and a small pin hole near the top. Hard to photograph due to glass so I've tried a couple different lighting schemes. From Wikipedia: Fra Angelico, O.P. was a Dominican friar and Italian Renaissance painter of the Early Renaissance, described by Giorgio Vasari in his Lives of the Artists as having "a rare and perfect talent". He earned his reputation primarily for the series of frescoes he made for his own friary, San Marco, in Florence, then worked in Rome and other cities. All his known work is of religious subjects.
