Matscherz5.0 out of 5 starsNew version of the Microseven 5mp camera August 7, 2019Size: 5MP POE 3.6mm+Built-in MicrophoneVerified PurchaseThis review is for the Newly updated Version of the Microseven 5mp camera (M7B5MP-SWSAA) - this one does NOT have POE and is a wired version with a power adapter or a Wifi connection with a needed power adapter. - I bought this camera to be used as a remote ftp camera that can take a picture as needed by the timer (set mine for once an hour) and then ftp the picture to a web server to make it available online as a .jpg image. It works perfectly for that application. The second thing I bought it for is for a "on demand" picture taker. This allows a use of a simple single command line in the web browser to immediately snap the image and view it on the web browser (example: 192.168.1.55/snap.jpg) That works perfectly as well. My third application for the camera is to use the 554 RTSP port for a security system to snap a mpeg movie (time length based on the software used) for a security application. It works for this as well. And all three items as listed above can be done at the same time. This camera is the real deal and worth the money. If the reliability is as good as the previous 1080 camera they offered with these features this camera is a winner.
