Description: Welcome MagLite enthusiasts. I would like to introduce my latest design which is a reinforced handle for D-body MagLites. This handle allows better control in a defense situation and also prevents your light from rolling away when you need it most. The benefit of my design over others on the market is that the collar can be clamped anywhere over the length of the handle without worry of it slipping on the anodize surface of the MagLite body. Additionally, the collar can be clamped over the ON/OFF switch without impairing access to the switch. This handle works best with 4D and longer bodies. As with all my designs, these handles are 3D printed. This manufacturing technique has allowed me to provide unique affordable designs to the market without heavy tooling investment. The design benefits from a 5/16" bolt which runs the length of the handle and thru the collar providing the necessary clamping force and strength. Included with the kit:(1) Collar(1) Handle(1) Wedge tool(1) 5/16" Carriage bolt(1) 5/16" Locknut(1) 5/16" Washer Disclaimer:This listing is for the 3D printed handle and does NOT include the MagLite shown in pictures This handle is for Standard D-body Maglites which measure 1-9/16" in diameter. This will not fit the ML300 series which have a barrel diameter of 1.5". Please contact me for when this will be available. Installation:1. Add provided wedge tool to the tapered boss of the collar to open the collar so it slides over the barrel of the MagLite without any interference.2. Add the carriage bolt thru the button access opening in the collar. Push it all the way in so it doesn't obstruct the barrel of the MagLite.3. Slide the collar over the barrel of the Maglite and position it to your preference over the length of the barrel.4. Remove the wedge tool.5. Install handle as shown in the pictures.6. Install supplied washer at base of handle.7. Install locking nut using a 1/2" socket. As the nut is screwed in, the gap between the handle and collar will close. Tightened to the point where the collar can not rotate over the barrel. Buy with confidence. This adapter is made in the USA with materials sourced domestically.
