LOVELY VTG MADAME ALEXANDER BRUNETTE CISSY DOLL W/ORIG 1957 OPERA DRESS DRESS

Description: This is a beautiful Madame Alexander Cissy fashion doll from the 1950s. She is in very nice condition. I don't know a lot about her. This is how she was when I got her. She has no splits or cracks at her knee joints. She does have small splits way up high on the top of her legs which are only noticeable when you seat her as I did in the picture. She has pretty blue eyes with all of her lashes. She is strung nicely. Overall she has good color. I am thinking that her previous owner added some blush or that she has been restored to some extent, but I don't know her history. Her dark brown hair is gorgeous and styled well. She is just a really pretty girl. I included pictures of the book showing her in this outfit - the book is NOT included. I will include the saddle stand I have her on. Her dress is the original faille 1957 opera gown that was sold either as an extra or on the doll. It is in very good condition (except for the spots shown on the lining) and is tagged. She has a fur stole, a long slip, nylons, shoes, gloves and jewelry. The slip may be original or it may be replaced and the stole also may be, but I honestly don't know. The nylons are baggy and the elastic on her shoes is stretched. The jewelry, I believe, is replaced, but goes with her outfit nicely. I'm also not sure about the gloves, but they complete the outfit! These are vintage dolls - over 60 years old - and, as such, will not be perfect. Please don't expect them to be. While I love these dolls and have collected a few, I am far from an expert.
