Otherwise for travel, it seems this laptop would need its main battery and CMOS (coin-sized battery) replaced as a result of the time spent being stored away in its unopened OEM box. Do your own research, but it appears both laptop and CMOS (coin-sized) batteries are readily available for this model (20BT) for less than < $50 total. Otherwise, if you don't really have a need to be mobile with the machine and instead use largely at home or in the office, simply leave the computer connected with the included AC adapter and date/time will be accurate without the need to ever replace either battery.
