Description: This VIBRANT cotton 1870's / 1880's "rolling squares" quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with an unusual pattern that combines diamond in a square with the more traditional nine patch.It measures 80" X 88" and is in excellent, unused condition, with a couple of small, inconspicuous spots and no wear. There are straight line and grid designs quilted throughout at 7-8 stitches to the inch. The back is white, the hand stitched binding is yellow, and the batting is thin. The quilt came out of Pennsylvania. The WONDERFUL COLORS, UNUSUAL DESIGN, and GREAT CONDITION make this vintage COLLECTOR'S QUILT stand out!
