Description: I know nothing about this vase other than what I can see and that it was a gift to my mother in 1985. Funny, this is a very long description for something I know nothing about!! It is footed and goes into a flared or trumpet shape. It has gold trim around the top and on the base. Did I mention it's made of clear glass? The etching has a lace like pattern and features a single sailing shape, a windmill, and a building that reminds me of a school house or meeting house. . The woman who gifted it to my mother was German and quite a world traveler so I suspect the vase was purchased in Europe as a souvenir, Her husband was an executive for a large international company and traveled quite a bit, he brought her gifts from his travels, many expensive gifts, so this may also be a result of that, though I believe his travels were mostly to Asia, and this vase doesn't look like other things he purchased there. I've searched and searched internet images and can't find anything similar or anywhere with matching landmarks. So, maybe this is priced too high and I'll be keeping it forever, or maybe it's priced way way to low and you'll get a real bargain? There is a scratch, about 2 inches in length on the bottom of the vase and a defect in the gold trim along the top, see photos please. This vase is 8 inches tall, at the base, it's 5.5 inches across and at the very top it's 6.75 inches across
