Description: From New Orleans Mardi Gras, a signature throw from the Krewe of Muses parade, this boot has been hand decorated with a glam shrimping boot/shrimp cocktail theme in mind. The shrimp in the cocktail at the top are handmade and shimmer with metallic highlights. The boot itself is covered in iridescent glitter and the sole has copper glitter, together resembling a shrimping boot. Embellished with pinkish peach and olive green scarves, a gold tone vintage crab brooch, and vintage Mardi Gras beads from the 70s and 80s in all the shades of pink you see on shrimp! The Krewe name is written down the front of the boot in copper glitter. From above the boot is filled with lettuce colored feathers that host the handmade shrimp and in the center is a ramiken filled with tomato red “jewels” resembling the cocktail sauce that traditionally is served with this local favorite dish. Very unique, even for the collector, and highly collectible! Artisan designed and made locally. This is definitely a piece that will be the envy of your collection!!
