Description: For your consideration I have a set of late 19th century Russian Imperial demitasse spoons hand made by Moscow silversmith Ivan Alekseevich Alekseev. It is a very beautiful set. There are 10 spoons in total. They are hallmarked and stamped as period correct 84 zolotniki which equates to .875 purity silver. I purchased these from an affluent estate auction. The gilding on the interior of the case reads (Goldsmiths and Jewellers Barber & Smith -36,- Cornhill). Based on my research and the case of the spoons, these were most likely purchased at the Royal Exchange in London, England in the early 1900s. I am not an expert on 19th century Russian silver but I will try my best to answer any questions you may have. Please ask all questions before purchasing. Each spoon will individually wrapped as well as the case, and will be shipped fully insured for the final purchase price. Please examine all photos as this is the exact spoon set that you will receive. All reasonable offers will considered, feel free to drop me a line with an offer Thank you for looking and happy browsing!
