Description: INSCRIBED AND SIGNED, "DC" or "DO" ON THE TITLE PAGE. I've obtained an example of the signature of Deborah Oppenheimer from an individuals selling this very book signed by her, to see whether these initials are hers, or perhaps they could be the initials of David Cesarani, who wrote the Introduction to this book. I saw from this other example of Deborah Oppenheimer's signature, wrote out in full in the example I obtained, that the handwriting and signatures do match, particularly the "D" of my initials, so I surmise these are the initials of Deborah Oppenheimer. The book is in VERY GOOD CONDITION. The dustjacket has a small tear where the front cover meets the spine on top, and there is a bit of color differentiation on the front cover, suggesting storage where the right edge of the front jacket is a lighter color - see listing photo. Pristine black cloth boards with clear gilt spine titling. The book pages are age-toned, which is a function of the quality of paper used for publication. B&W photos throughout. B132
