This-One ! - with the one-of-a-kind ( only used once ! ) " Pink " Border ( for this 4/1/93 Nassau Coliseum - " April Fools Day '93 " Show ! ) - and, just One-Other time - with the one-of-a-kind ( only used once ! ) " Red " Border ( for the 1989 Fall Tour - 10/25/89 Miami Arena Show ). As maybe this ' Art Design ' was just a little too " Grateful Dead " - for the Band's taste ! - being that it ' Debuted ' on the Fall Tour in '89 ( with a Red-Border ) - and then was only ever used Once-Again ( Ever ! ) like 3 1/2 years later ?!? ... for the " April Fools Day '93 ! " Show - in New York !! - at Nassau !!! And too ... just a little Grateful Dead History ! here for you - which, I'd have to imagine you have yet to know ?? As This-Show ! - this 4/1/93 " April Fools Day Show ! " was indeed the one where Phil ! came out on-stage in the Phil Zone !! ... dressed-up as " Barney " the Dinosaur !! Which, was Tons ! of " Hilarious-Fun " at the time - but then ... the Band actually got Sued ! - by " Barney's " Lawyers !!?!! I mean ... Can You Believe It !? - as it's sure safe to say ... that They ! " Weren't " Deadheads !! Now that's ! a pure-classic ... I mean Whoa ?!? Corporate America - have you ever heard of the ' Benefit ' of Free-Advertising !?! I'll just ' never-ever ' forget that one, for most-certain ... Ha ! Wow ... I will most certainly also say though - that This ! little-period here ( of really Spring Tour '93 through Late-Summer Tour '93 ! ) was yet Another ! " Seriously-Impressive " Resurgence !! - for the Good Ol' Grateful Dead !!! In fact, it really was right around this time too ( during Spring Tour '93 ), that they really began a solid & consistent playing-live hot streak - that even ( arguably ) continued all the way through Early-Spring Tour '94 ( February in Oakland !! ) - and, I suppose you could also argue that this impressiveness really continued all the way into both the Spring & Summer '94 Tours - but, as most could agree ... there was certainly some hit & obviously some miss too. But, on a " Good-Night " in this Era ? - it could even be a " Grate-Night ! " - I mean ... Wow !! And, as we all know ... the Band just Always ! tried to deliver the hot & heavy goods - when in New York ! No matter where, may it be at Knickerbocker - Giants - M.S.G. - Nassau - I mean you name it ... as there sure-were some high standards from the Way-Loyal ! G.D. Fans - and the Band ... well, they totally knew-it ! Personally, I think this Spring Tour '93 run was kind of the beginning of things rolling downhill again - and, I mean downhill in a nice & easy-way. Versus up-hill, which - I personally equate to trying to have 2 Keys players in a band. It may work with some bands ? But, with the G.D. - you've already got 2 " Killer " Drummers !! - Bobby Ace - Phil on Lead-( Bass ! )-Guitar ... and, that other guy too - who, I personally-consider to be the " Real " King of Rock & Roll !!! And yep, and even-in '93. Ha !! And, as far as this 5-Night Nassau run goes ? Well, you could argue ( pretty-easily ? ) that this 4/1/93 Show - was most-definitely the " Toughest-Ticket ! " - and, if You and/or Your Kids ! just " Love Barney ! " - then You were just in " April Fools Day ! - Heaven !! " at the Start of This-Show ! That is ... until Barney's " Legal-Team " went & tried to spoil the Fun ! - after the Fact !! ... of the Good Ol' 1993 Grateful Dead ! - just Heatin'-Up ! -- New York !!! As This !
