Description: HUM 447 Morning Concert - TMK-6 Height 5.25" Tall This figurine was first introduced in 1987 for members of the Goebel Collectors' Club only and not sold as an Open Edition. It was originally modeled by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek. He sculpted it from an original drawing by Sister M.I. Hummel. It has an incised 1984 copyright date along with the TMK-6 trademark. Also bears the inscription "EXCLUSIVE SPECIAL EDITION No. 11 FOR MEMBERS OF THE GOEBEL COLLECTORS' CLUB" applied by blue decal on the bottom of the base. The original official issue price was $98 in the U.S., in addition to the member's redemption card. This figurine is a closed Exclusive Edition (CE)(EE). Has Goebel W. Germany Missing Bee Trademark (TMK-6) with the year "1984" centered underneath trademark stamped in Blue on underside of base. Stamped "EXCLUSIVE SPECIAL EDITION No. 11 FOR MEMBERS OF THE GOEBEL COLLECTORS CLUB" in blue on underside of base. Incised Hummel Number "447", Factory Control Letter "K" and Copyright Date "1984" on underside of base. Incised M.I. Hummel signature is located on rear top side of base. Hummel stands at 5.25" tall, which matches the catalogs listed height of 5.25". Master Painter Hand-signed signature in black with year "87" on underside of base. Hummel retains the original name sticker, "Morning Concert". Hummel is Very Glossy! Much more gloss than I have seen! Comes with original white box with foam inserts. Closed Exclusive Special Edition. (EE)(CE) (Never sold as Open Edition!) Hummel is in New Open Box condition! No Repairs! No Chips! No Touch Ups! No Crazing! Hummel is Very Glossy! Please note that there is a slight discoloration on part of the bottom edge of base from sitting in the foam within the box for decades. I did not want to damage it inadvertently by cleaning it.
