Why do artists not sign their full name to work - unless you are Picasso or VanGogh or Cher - last names matter. UGH. Anyway, I did scour the internet and found many Phyllises but none had her style or gentle stroke and detail, so this talented artist is mysterious Phyllis for the moment. The work is of a cute little chipmunk in a picnic basket hiding out with flora and fauna around it. Great use of color and water wash in the work. Watercolor is a difficult medium to master and this is truly so well done. It is an original one of a kine work of art - and framed and matted too. Measures 8x10 and is ready to be displayed.
