Description: Genuine Fender USA American Deluxe Four String Bass Bridge. As found on American Deluxe Series Four String Basses. Chrome plated steel bridge plate. One very cool thing about this bridge is that you have the option of loading the strings from the back lip of the bridge plate or from the back of the bass body through four holes in the base of the bridge plate. Some folks are using this bridge to upgrade their reissue '51 Precision Bass; the mounting holes and string ferrule holes line up just fine. Mounts to the body with three screws (Fender doesn't package 'em with this bridge but Angela Instruments includes them with your purchase). Solid stainless steel saddles are partially threaded to anchor strings securely. Saddles are individually height adjustable with two black allen screws. There are some slots milled into the bridge plate to keep the screws from wandering. The saddle threads also anchor the strings nicely against sideways movement. Brand New. Genuine Fender 0058396000.
