Description: Ladies and Gentlemanup for sale is an Exceedingly Rare Antique 19th Century by the master himself Charles Ferdinand Hurten Copeland Spode handpainted 8 inch Plate. No Cracks Chips, Flea bites crazing or repairs, its FLAWLESS. These pieces rarely come up for Auction even at Sotheby's and Christie's. So if you have been lucky enough to find this beautiful treasure, it will be a once in a lifetime chance and opportunity for you. Hurten was one of the only Artists of his time to be paid a Salary, most if not all were paid by the piece. He is a master in his own right, and his "one of a kind" pieces will continue to be coveted. As you can see the floral bouquet is bursting with colors and the brush strokes are amazing and only from the hand of a master. the Piece is Signed C.F.H. as well as clearly Marked Copeland on the back with other impressed numbers. NOTE - IF YOU HAVE A KEEN EYE there is black smudge in some of the pictures. My camera has something wrong with its lens and its happening in all my pictures. I will get a new camera soon to correct thisThe gilding is exquisite. When you hold this piece, you can feel it screaming quality. I tried to capture the brush strokes but to see it in person is very striking! It rings like well polished bell even when lightly tapped. I can't say enough, because it is so amazing.
