ESTATE 18K WG NATURAL BLUE SAPPHIRE DIAMOND RING SPECTACULAR SEPT BIRTHSTONE NR

Description: This gorgeous,18 karat white gold ring has a fantastic, vintage Art Deco look. It is a newer ring, probably made sometime in the 1990's to 2000's but has all the charm and romance of the original period. The ring is 7/8th of an inch long, (north to south) by about 3/4s of an inch across, (east to west including the shoulders) and lays fairly flush on the finger (rises about 3.4 mm). The center, natural sapphire is a faceted oval cut and measures approximately 5 x 3.5 mm. It is eye clean and a beautiful blue color. It weighs approximately 0.25 carats. There are about 30 baguette cut blue sapphires and a plethora of round, single cut, prong set diamonds. Each shoulder has a lovely, milgrain butterfly design embellished with tiny diamonds. The ring is hallmarked 750, the European designation for 18k, on the upper inside of the shank and weighs 5.2 grams on my scale. The ring is a size 6 3/4.
