Description: A very interesting English Art Deco solid sterling silver and enamel letter opener. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1937 with the maker’s marks being RVP. It has been superbly made with the terminal being in the form of the crest which is on New Oxford House Birmingham, I do not know why. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The enamel is perfect. It measures approx. 9.25 inches (23.2cm) long by 1.5 inches (3.6cm) and weighs 48 grams. A very well designed piece. Also on Selling Antiques. If you have any queries etc... please contact us.
