Description: Selling hand-made (by me) wood & leather 1911 grip panels. I shape the panels from hard oak wood and apply a leather veneer. Each pair is test-fitted to my personal Rock Island 1911A1. This particular set is made from polished stingray hide, which has a distinct "pebbled" appearance, but is ground smooth. This set is already made and ready to ship! The pictures you see in this listing are the ACTUAL grips you will receive. NOTE: As these grip panels are made from natural leather, they will patina and darken over time with exposure to wear, sweat, oils, etc ... This is natural and to be expected.
