Description: Short Description:The King is dead, and you and your friends try to claim the empty throne. You will be fighting for the crown through various rounds. The goal is to score the highest points by the end of the round and claim the coveted crown. On each round, you have a different goal. For example, on a Missions round everyone’s given 5 missions to choose from, and you gain points if you manage to do your mission or lose coins otherwise! In the Alliances round, you form alliances of two and cooperate in order for both of you to do your bids correctly. In the Secret Battle round, nobody knows your bids, but you don't know theirs either. There are 16 unique Round Types to choose from.At the end of each round the player with the highest score claims the metal crown symbolising their temporary dominance!Add more excitement and fun to your game with Special Ability cards. If you play the Witch you can steal coins from your opponents. The Alchemist can help you change the trump suit during the gameplay. The Bishop allows you see one of your opponent's hand. There are 16 of them each to choose from. The player with the most points in the last round is crowned the ultimate sovereign of the lands.Standard Battle (The Base Game):Rounds:In each round, the number of cards dealt to each player changes. The first round begins with one card per player, the second round has two cards per player, and so on, until the final round where each player receives a number of cards equal to the round number. To prepare for the game, you need to choose the cards you want to use in the deck. The number of cards you need for the game will vary based on the number of players involved. You can experience unique gameplay by only changing the Special Cards or altering the rounds structure.Set up:To begin, randomly pick a dealer for the first round. On each subsequent round, the dealer should change in a clockwise direction. The dealer will always have the Round Tracker specifying the number of cards dealt in that round. The dealer shuffles the deck and deals a hand of cards to each player. In each round, the number of cards dealt is different.Trump suit:On each round, the dealer spins the spinner (or the dice) and reveals one card. This card determines the Trump suit/color for the current round. If the card revealed is an X, no Trump suit will be used for that round. If the card revealed is the Dragon, the dealer chooses which suit/color will serve as the Trump suit for that round.Round:Each player declares how many tricks they think they can win in the current round. Bidding starts with the player on the left of the dealer and continues in a clockwise direction. The bid can also be 2 consecutive bids (double-bid). Ensure that every player gets the corresponding bidding token reflecting their bid amount.Play:The player to the left of the dealer leads the first trick of the round by playing a card from their hand. The other players then have to play a card of the same suit/color, if possible. If they don't have any cards of the same suit, they can play a card from another suit. If a trump suit card is played, it's stronger than the leading suit, otherwise, all other suits are weaker. The Player who won the trick leads the suit/color of the next round.Game End:After all the tricks have been played, the players count up the number of tricks they have won and compare it to their bid. Points are awarded for each trick won and players who do not meet their bid lose points. At the end of each round, the player with the highest score gets the crown to indicate the current leader. In case of a tie between players, place the crown at the center between them. The player with the highest score at the end of the final round will be crowned the winner!Expansion Round Types:Standard BattleAs generals you have all agreed to reveal your strategies openly.Place your bids face-up for all to see.Secret BattleTrust is gone in the realm and your strategies remain hidden.Place your bids face-down to keep them secret.Extended BattleBattles intensify and you have to lead your troops into an extended clash.Play a second card to extend the trick.Stealth BattleAmbushes are happening all around the battlefield.
