Krauss-Maffei Sd. Kfz. 7 Semi-Track Quad Flak Gun is made of die-cast metal with some plastic part such as plastic wheels and plastic trends. German Krauss-Maffei Sd. Kfz. 7 Semi-Track Quad Flak Gun dimensions are 5 1/4" Long x 1 7/8" Wide x 2 1/8" High. German Krauss-Maffei Sd. Kfz. 7 Semi-Track Quad Flak Gun is colored brown/green camouflage that complements its vintage design. Sdkfz 7 Quad Flak Gun rotates 360 degrees and elevates. Like other Corgi "WWII Collections" German Krauss-Maffei Sd. Kfz. 7 Semi-Track Quad Flak Gun has been “muddied” to give it a more weathered appearance. Diorama is painted in Earth Tone colors. Corgi 3 WWII US and German Infantry figures: (1) Spin-Cast Metal Construction Military Figures, (2) Hand-Painted Details. (3) Unique, Lifelike Poses, (4) Historically Accurate World War II Infantry Soldiers, and (5) 1:50 (36mm) Scale. This set has 1 US Infantry capturing 2 surrendering German Infantry. Set is a Limited Edition with Certificate No. 0355 of 1790 worldwide. Corgi Box condition shows minor shelf wear expected for it being 20 years old.Sd. Kfz. 7 was a half-track military vehicle used by German Wehrmacht Heer, Luftwaffe and Waffen-SS during World War II. Sd. Kfz. is a German medium towing motor vehicle. Production started in 1938 and was intended to be used mainly as a tractor for 88 mm Flak gun and 150 mm howitzer. Because of its heavy towing power, it often was used as a recovery vehicle. In this listing Sd.Kfz. 7 became basis of a number of self-propelled anti-aircraft variants based on 20 mm and 37 mm flak types in use. Sd.Kfz. 7/1 was armed with a 2cm Flakvierling 38 quadruple anti-aircraft gun system. Also, other Sd. Kfz. tractor vehicles could carry gun crews of up to 12 men in theatre-type seats. Under seats was storage room for various tools, and whole vehicle was spacious enough to carry their kit. Rear of vehicle housed an enclosed compartment for storage of ammunition, though a second ammunition carrier was desirable. Sd. Kfz. tractor could tow loads up to 17,600 lbs. and most were fitted with a winch that could pull up to 7,590 lbs. Windscreen could fold down, and a canvas roof could be erected. Half-track running gear consisted of two front wheels with hydro-pneumatic tires for steering and a track each side with 14 road wheels, 7 per side in an overlapping and interleaved design. 12,187 Sd.
