Its obverse side features the denomination in a dark green-to-light green OVI, a Sietecueros blossom (Tibouchina lepidota) in green-to-blue SPARK Orbit, and Carlos Lleras Restrepo. Its reverse side shows wax palms (Ceroxylon quindiuense), an excerpt from Luis Vidales’ poem about wax palms, and the Liberty bank seal. Security features include a BRC registration device, a Barranquero bird (Momotus momota aequatorialis) registration device, a solid security thread, a yellow-to-green windowed security thread with demetallized BRC and bird, and a watermark of Carlos Lleras Restrepo with an electrotype 100.
