Description: Astronauts Knife M-1 (Model 1966) W.R.Case & Sons Cutlery Sheath Custom Blade. Ok first off let's address the elephant in the room. The blade was indeed broken or at least a chunk out of the blade. It was re-honed to be a useable functional knife. At least that's what the guys on the knife forums tell me. I bought it at an online auction under the assumption it was a rare design. That's on me and so now I'm just trying to recoup some of my losses. The blade is very sharp the re-worked part of the blade looks the part but has not been given an edge. There is some Knicks and use marks. Lol ok closely at the pictures. Comes with a heavy duty leather sheath. I think it looks pretty good compared to the original. Good collection fillers or unique carry knife.
