The Diana head facing right inside a 5-semicircle diagram with number 3 at the left side of the head is the Austria-Hungary silver mark for 800/1000 purity of silver. The town letter P at the right side of the head is for Pest (Budapest). It was made by PJ in Budapest in the period of 1872-1922. 5 1/8" x 3 5/8" x 1 5/8". Weighs 9.965 oz or 282.5 grams WITHOUT lined wood. Weighs 11.600 oz or 328.9 grams with lined wood. Excellent condition. No dings, dents or monogram. No holes or splits. No damage or repair. Lid is heavy and closes down nicely by its weight. All edges are round to prevent silver split. Lid has lightly gilt interior. Thick silver wall wraps up to the top of lined wood. Heavy and solid construction. Lined wood is intact and clean. Wood pieces are not glued to the sides. They fit tightlybut are removable. Useful, displayable and presentable.
