Description: Here is a wonderful Antique Venetian Fancy Green Glass Wedding Cake Beads beaded necklace featuring these fantastic tabular shaped beads decorated with a thick gold center band, pink "roses" blue/white "forget-me-nots" with a yellow center dot plus a neon green line of glass and traceries of gold glass on either side of the gold center bands. Quite nice! Necklace is 17" long making this a choker style necklace. There are 9 tabular Venetian fancy wedding cake beads measuring 14 mm wide x 7 mm thick. Each tabular bead has a pair of faceted clear glass bead which measure 3 mm. Who ever contructed this necklace used very tiny brass accent beads between each tabular bead. When new these beads would have been bright giving this choker necklace some added zing. There is decor loss on some of the beads. The screw together silver tone clasp looks newer which suggests the old clasp came off and the owner was able to fix it. I would have to assume that these beads are strung on string and it feels loose. I would suggest a restringing if you plan on wearing this neat necklace. If you wear it without restringing and it breaks I will not be able to refund you. Since these glass beads are made by hand there will be variations in style, size, and decor.
