Description: This very large solid wood apothecary / general store cabinet is a rare find. The J.D. Warren Mfg. Co brand adds to its value and authenticity. Oak dovetail construction, rounded-bottom drawers, brass handles and overall good condition make this cabinet ideal for restoration or use as-is. All drawers work well, and it measures 101.5 inches in length, 54 inches in height, and 16 inches in depth. The cabinet is circa 1900 by the J. D. Warren Manufacturing company of Chicago, Illinois. This cabinet has:64 drawers measuring 6" x 5.5", 24 drawers measuring 12"x 5.5", and 4 drawers measuring 24" x 5.5." All drawers are 16" deep. 92 drawers total! All measurements approx.No drawers are missing. This cabinet was used in a wagon / harness /blacksmith shop around the turn of the 19th century in a very small town in Kansas. It has been kept indoors throughout its life. It is dusty but ready for a wonderful refurbishment. Perfect practical show piece for home or business.
