Description: This is a very rare, antique, 1920 NEFT SAFETY KNIFE. It is in very good condition for its age. It is marked inside the handle: "NEFT SAFETY KNIFE - TRADE MARK - U.S. PAT. NOV. 9, 1920 - FOREIGN PATENTS - This highly collectible NEFT Safety Knife has nickel silver bolsters, a textured hard black plastic handle grip with a shield shaped button to open the handle halves to manually fold the blade out, & has a sharp drop point carbon steel blade with sawback blade back. The knife measures 5 1/2" with a 4 1/4" blade and the weight is 6.4 oz.There is a small dent on the front of the knife that is only cosmetic & does not affect its operation. (See pictures.)
