Description: Adjustable Main Jet for Mikuni VM20-273, VM20-179 and VM22-133 carburetors The adjustable main jet will fit all Mikuni carburetors equipped with a float bowl with external main jet holder (pics 6 and 7). Such typical Mikuni aftermarket carburetors are: VM20-273, VM20-179 and VM22-133 (pic 5). Please note It will NOT fit the type of float bowl you see in picture 8. Some dirtbikes from the 70's era came equipped with this type of float bowl and will happily take an adjustable main jet (see list below). An adjustable main jet is a time saving tool. Once installed you will find it indispensable. It gives you the possibility to make jetting corrections in a fraction of a second when weather conditions alter or you ride at different altitudes. It saves the need of dismantling and changing main jets every time you have to change the jetting. Installation is eazy: Unscrew the main jet holder (with its main jet) and replace it with the adjustable main jet. The corresponding main jet sizes ranges from 0 to 350 mikuni hex (4/042). The transparent rubber cap included prevents the adjustable main jet from unsetting when used on exceptionally vibrating engines. It is still adjustable with it in place, so please do not remove!We also offer adjustable main jet kits that turn your TM24-9, VM24-473, VM24-512, VM26-606 and VM26-665 into adjustable main jet carburetors.
