She is also the author of Becoming Mum, a self-help book for the perinatal period grounded in acceptance and commitment therapy.Her research spans three key areas: parenting, neurodevelopmental disabilities, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and related approaches. She is passionate about the application of ACT to parenting research and intervention. Lisa W. Coyne, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry and is the Founder of the McLean Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Institute for Children and Adolescents (OCDI Jr.) at Harvard Medical School. She is also the Founder and Director of the New England Center for OCD and Anxiety (NECOA) and is a Fellow in the Association of Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS).
